Susann Lothar has been nominated for the German LOLA film prize for the best female leading role for her portrayal of the midwife in Michael Haneke’s film The White Ribbon.

Susanne Lothar is in Frankfurt for the filming of “Morgen must Du sterben”, directed by Niki Stein.

Susanne Lothar is currently shooting the film Die verlorene Zeit, directed by Anna Justice.

This year, British television will be featuring "Murder on the Orient Express", by Philip Martin.

'The White Ribbon' has won the Golden Palm in Cannes, the Golden Globe in Los Angeles and the European Film Award in Bochum. Susanne Lothar plays one of the leading roles.
